38. St Swinesend's School for Boys
Excuse the radio silence of late - I've been frantically illustrating a book. Gloat gloat. Yup, a whole book, to be published by Grove Atlantic. As opposed to half a book, which might look a little laissez faire, frankly. It's quite a long one too, if my embryonic carpal tunnel syndrome is anything to go by.
It's basically a satire of the jolly catamite chicanery that goes on behind Britain's fine tradition of public schools. Oh how fitting I hear you cry. Thought I'd post the odd highlight up here to tickle those of you feverishly awaiting a new strip of some sort.
I'm also wrestling with getting an RSS feed up on the site to ensure that all doodled delights are delivered instantaneously to your inbox the minute i publish them, so don't forget to click on the Subscribe to Posts [atom] link to the right under the links section and subscribe! In case you were wondering, the chap in the above pic is a 17th century student who's evaded the plague by smoking a cigarette. As if that wasn't patently obvious from the masterful illustration. Tsk.

I'd like to say what an excellent job you've done of the book. Your illustrations are definitely going to help shift a lot of copies and make a lot of people laugh.
If anyone's interested, the book's out on April 1st, but you can pre-order Swinesend: Britain's Greatest Public School right now on Amazon, and for a decent discount.
